"Law firm back online in 47 minutes after ransomware hit at 6pm on a Friday"
A 15-person Central London law firm called us at 5:57pm on a Friday evening with an active ransomware infection locking all network drives. Engineer answered the call in under 2 minutes. Remote isolation of the affected server began within 10 minutes. On-site engineer arrived at 6:35pm. All user data restored from verified backup by 8:10pm. The firm migrated to our Advanced managed plan the following week.

Call 0203 834 9728 NowIT emergency — frequently asked questions
Q.How fast can you respond to an IT emergency?
We aim to have an engineer actively working on your issue within 15 minutes of your call. Same-day on-site attendance is available across London, with remote triage covering the whole UK within minutes. For existing Advanced plan clients, this is triggered automatically. For new clients, call us and we triage immediately.
Q.Do you charge extra for emergency or out-of-hours callouts?
Advanced plan clients (£50/user/mo) have emergency cover included — guaranteed 15-minute response around the clock with no additional call-out charge. For non-contracted businesses, we offer transparent fixed-rate emergency support with a no-surprise invoice policy. We never charge for the initial phone triage.
Q.We're not an existing client — can you still help us in an emergency?
Yes. We take on emergency cases for businesses that are not Coreitech clients. Call 0203 834 9728 and we'll triage immediately. If it's something we can fix remotely, we'll start working on it. If we need to add you as an emergency client, we'll explain the cost upfront and in writing before any chargeable work begins.
Q.What are the most common IT emergencies?
The most common IT emergencies are ransomware attacks (especially overnight or on weekends, which is when attackers strike), server failures that take the business entirely offline, email account compromise leading to wire fraud, failed software or cloud migrations that leave systems inaccessible, and database corruption. All of these are within our emergency scope and we respond to them daily.
Q.Can you help with a ransomware attack remotely?
Yes — but only in combination with on-site work. We begin remotely: isolating the affected systems to contain the spread. We then dispatch an engineer on-site for recovery. Remote-only ransomware response is never appropriate because we need physical assurance that the infection is contained.
Q.Do you provide out-of-hours IT support for non-clients?
Yes. Out-of-hours emergency support is available to businesses that are not Coreitech clients. Call 0203 834 9728. We triage your issue, give you a fixed price before starting chargeable work, and deploy an engineer immediately if needed. Some businesses then choose to stay on as managed clients after seeing what proper IT support feels like.
